No. Smart Stuff Keeper is local-first. All your items, receipts, and photos are saved directly inside an encrypted IndexedDB / SQLite database on your device. Cloud sync is 100% optional and protected by end-to-end client encryption.
How does Keeper AI work offline?
Keeper AI uses local intent parsing and semantic keyword caches for instant response times. When connected to the internet, it utilizes Google Gemini 2.5 Flash through our secure serverless proxy to process complex multi-variable inventory questions.
Can I print QR codes for my physical boxes?
Yes! You can generate single QR labels or entire sheets of printable sticker labels directly from the app. Scanning any label with the built-in scanner instantly reveals every sub-item stored inside that box.
